1. Build your components

- Build your component.
- To post a completed Component Listing in the Developer Garden Component Marketplace, we need your binaries/code, a test app, component documentation, clear instructions on how to use & integrate your component and a test protocol or conformation that no malware etc is included.
Please see our tutorials (iOS/Android) as well as our FAQs. - Create documentation for your component.
- If you use an external API in your component, please clarify what happened, how the API was integrated and if the developer needs a special account to use the component etc.
- Secure the component with the Verious Licensing SDK (iOS/Android).
2. Get ready to sell
- Create a PayPal account to accept online payments securely.
- Fill out the appropriate tax documentation.
- Price your item appropriately - we will guide you through this process.
3. Submit for review
- You can download our Component Listing Guide here.
- Start with the "Add Component" wizard: Please add the title, description, photos and upload your component.
- Once submitted, you will get an email from Developer Garden Component Marketplace on the submission status.
- You may have several listings open. Please manage all your listings in the 'My Listings' section of your account.
Download Our SDKs for iOS and Android
As a Developer Garden developer, you have access to our patent-pending SDKs provided by Verious (for both iOS and Android) and a global market of 10 million developers who have pent-up demand for pre-built, pre-tested libraries to accelerate their mobile application development.
Supported Platforms
Verious Licensing SDKs support iOS 3.1+ and Android 1.5+ devices. Developers are able to rapidly build applications for iPhones, iPads and Android-enabled phones and tablets using components licensed through the Developer Garden Component Marketplace.
We will continue to support new versions of iOS and Android and increase the support of all the major mobile platforms over time.
Security/DRM
The patent-pending Verious License Manager ensures that your libraries are copy-protected and that only licensed buyers can use your software.
The system also fulfills licensing terms on an individual app basis. This means that you can price your components based on market demand without having to worry about a buyer “giving” your component to someone else or using it in multiple apps without signing up for the appropriate licensing arrangement.
Every component listed on the Component Marketplace is already protected with strong security standards based on public key cryptography (PKI), providing a simplified experience for your buyers. The license management system offers the following benefits:
- Flexibility. Enables multiple licensing options for your component. You may choose between several subscription models including perpetual, annual, monthly or per-user licensing.
- Security. Ensures each customer that uses your component for their app pays you for that use. Components are copy-protected and tracked so we can ensure that there is no “borrowing” or “sharing” of components between people or even across apps issued by the same developer. You get paid for the value you create and can price your software for volume distribution.
- Easy to use. Non-intrusive and simple for customers to use.
- Try-before-you buy. Allows your customers to securely try your software for a short period of time before requiring them to fully license the product.
- Accurate statistics and reports. Detailed reports so that you can track customer activations and software usage.
