This year's awards features two categories for developers and creative masterminds:

Freestyle
In this category, participants are offered the opportunity to develop new ideas and sustainable concepts regardless of technical limitations.

Microsoft Mediaroom Presentation Framework (MPF)
This category is focused on the technical realization of creative concepts for tomorrow's television. Second round contestants will develop a demonstrator to visualize their ideas using the upcoming Entertain platform: the Microsoft Mediaroom Presentation Framework (MPF).
