The Pro Competition
Now sought: Inventive developers and creative minds.
Winners are chosen over the course of two rounds – under the auspices of a high-profile jury. You can submit your television concept to us in two categories until October 15, 2010.
"Developer" category
Implement innovative ideas at a technical level
As a competitive developer, you can put forward an application that would also pass the practical test on the platform environment of our television service Entertain. The technical basis in this category is the Microsoft Mediaroom Presentation Framework (MPF).
Prize money of 10,000 Euro for each of the five developer finalists from the first round is waiting to be won. On top of that, at the end of the second round, the first-place winner in the developer category will get 30,000 Euro, with 15,000 Euro for second place and 5,000 Euro for third place.
"Freestyle" category
Award for creative minds
You score big time with any idea you've come up with that is impressive in terms of its creativity. For instance, in previous rounds we had contributions from usability designers, TV start-ups and authors. Think about the television of tomorrow – and let technology be technology!
As one of three Freestyle finalists, you can look forward to winning 5,000 Euro. And if you come first in the finals, you'll get an additional 10,000 Euro!
