Developer Garden provides APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) that allow developers to access core Telekom services such as conference call or messaging and integrate them into their applications.
the WEBSmS connector for android has bugs. Would like to have it fixed.
- not working at all on android 4
- websms on android 2.3.5 sais: no connector installed on start up (but connector works anyway)
we have to investigate the compatibility problems first before I can give further information on when it will be fixed. I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Is there still development of the android connector? It's been three months and it is still not running on Android 4 ICS. The issue has also been adressed in the WebSms Forum

I hope there will be a fix soon, since this is one of the most useful apps that i own!

I'm afraid to tell you that there is nobody currently working on the SMS Connector. It was the project of an student and is not supported by the Developer Garden Team. And I don't know whether he is working on the issue.
We're not able to answer this question.
Please check the contact data at the android market and ask the author himself to get information about that issue.

How likely is it, that the connector will become an official project of the developer garden team? Because apparently we are unable to reach the author of the program and are unable to find someone who could take over.
I know you are all probably very busy, but from what I read it is supposed to be quite easy to create such a connector, however I have no clue about programming whatsoever.
I would be really grateful if developer garden would officially support this app.
I wrote a lot of questions to the former student how develeped the connector. Unfurtuately via facebook, I didn`t got any answer. Could I get the real E-Mail adress? Thx you in advance.
I tried to reach him via the mail adress, I found at his app site on Google Play Store, but got no answer, so I am assuming that he has stopped development of the app. It would be great, if there would be another developer that develops a new connector which is working on ICS, too.
jeder redet von iPhone, immer mehr von Android. WebSMS ist eine App, die ansich trivial ist. Es ist unglaublich, dass eine Entwickler-Community wie developergarden.com es nicht hinbekommt, den Connector auf ICS zu aktualisieren.
Unglaublich ist auch, dass hinter dem ein riesen Kommuniklationkonzern steht namens Deutsche Telekom AG.
Mir fehlen die Worte und das ganze macht mich unendlich traurig, weil ich die Websms-Funktion dringend benötige.
