Service Specifications and Examples to system requirements

Voice Call Typo3 Extension

Overview:

The Voice Call live demo shows the functionality of the Developer Garden voice call service using a browser-initiated call connection as an example.

Functions:

General front end:

As you can see in the screenshot the interface only has 6 text boxes, four check boxes and one button. The text boxes are used for transmitting phone data. This is how you specify the desired numbers and the display name in the browser. The check boxes allow you to enable number suppression and to specify the number(s) to suppress. The system number is the dial number of subscriber A, who is generally the call initiator. He will then get connected to subscriber B.

The alternative number of subscriber B is the number the call will be forwarded to if subscriber B doesn't answer the call or rejects it.

Click one of the number text boxes for more information about allowed number formats. Parameters such as maximum call duration or call forwarding time to the alternative subscriber B can only be configured in the back end, same as with Developer Center login data.

Now we'll have a look at the front end during the call:

The front end consists of plain status information.

If no display name is specified, phone number, associated status and maximum remaining talk time will be displayed. This information is updated every second. There is also a button you can click to end the call.
