This plug-in makes it easy to use the Conference Call and Send SMS services in the Developer Garden from within Microsoft Outlook. It is supported in Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 under Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.Conference calls can be started instantly or scheduled for a future time like an Outlook appointment. Participants in a conference call are simply contacted from the local or central address book, or can be entered manually. The standard number saved in the Outlook properties is automatically used as the participant's phone number. No matter whether a conference call is spontaneous or scheduled, the organizer is called first, followed by all other participants. No one needs to dial in or enter a PIN to participate in the conference call. An interface offers management options to the organizer during a telephone conference: for example, he can temporarily mute one or all participants or call a participant again if the connection is interrupted. New participants can be added at any time. To do so, the organizer simply enters the new participant's name and phone number and presses the call button. The organizer can send an e-mail or SMS to all participants for information. If SMS is chosen as the messaging medium, the Send SMS service in the Developer Garden is used.
