Conference Call API 1.5
Conference Call is a simple web service for connecting multiple phone numbers to telephone conferences in the fixed and mobile networks, both nationally and internationally. Subscribers do not have to remember any numbers or dial in, rather they are automatically called at the start of the conference (dial-out). This enables, for example, CRM and ERP systems, widgets and apps to be enhanced with conference call functions across platforms.
- Conferences can be launched immediately (ad hoc conferences)
- Dial-out: Participants are automatically called at the specified time
- Conferences can be planned up to 365 days in advance
- Conferences can be set up in series
- Moderator role with special rights: Participants can be added, removed, and put on mute during the conference via a web service
- If the initiator of the conference cannot be reached, he can be called back a number of times.
- No special knowledge of VoIP, PBX, ISDN, etc., required
- Dial-out: Participants are automatically called at the specified time
- Conferences can be planned up to 365 days in advance
- Conferences can be set up in series
- The original conference duration can easily be extended
- The organizer of a conference decides whether a subscriber’s number should be hidden or displayed
Supported Webservice-Protocols
- REST (over HTTPS)
- SOAP/XML (over HTTPS)
Supported programming languages by SDKs
- Java and all other JVM languages
- PHP (incl. Typo3 and Zend Framework)
- C#, Visual Basic and all the other languages on the .NET platform
When planning a conference, several parameters can be defined (and changed again at any time): for example, who should be called on what day, at what time, and for how long. At the specified time, the conference initiator and all invited conference participants are automatically called.
The organizer of a conference also decides whether a subscriber’s number should be hidden or displayed. Furthermore, additional participants can quickly be added while the conference is underway. It is also no problem to exclude individual subscribers or to put them on mute.
If there is much more to discuss than planned, the original conference duration can easily be extended. There are no basic fees or one-time payments. The conference is billed per minute and per participant. Billing is carried out using the prepaid system or, on request, by invoice.
