1. Overview

The Send SMS TYPO3 extension consists of a front-end plug-in and a back-end module. The front-end plug-in enables you to send SMS. The back-end module displays the front-end plug-in's usage statistics. Use the extension options to configure the complete plug-in.

2. Functionality

2.1 Front-end plug-in

The form consists of two text boxes and one check box. "Recipient" and "Message" are mandatory, while the check box is optional. Flash SMS means that the messages immediately show up on the cell phone display.

You can also set up captcha codes. To be able to display captchas you need to install the "sr_freecap" extension.

2.2 Plug-in extension options

The following settings exist:

• Developer Center user name

• Developer Center password

• Proxy

• System environment

• Sender

• Signature

• Maximum number of SMS per user

• Maximum number of recipients

• Captcha

• Links to the documentation

2.3 Back-end module

The back-end module is located in the user tools area. You can use the back-end module to display the SMS sending statistics.

The module contains a validation tool as well as various charts.
