Autoscout24 Typo3 Extension |
Overview:
The AutoScout24 live demo shows the functionality of the AutoScout24 service. To do so, many important search parameters have been added to the search, helping you to gain an overview of what you can do with the API and whether it suits your app. That's why the interface is more on the pragmatic side.
Function:
Front-end search criteria:

Once you have selected the desired language when first visiting the page you will see the front end (detail) displayed here. This is used to select the search parameters. They are created dynamically to ensure they always stay up to date and to avoid any mistakes from incorrect names. As you can see most of the search parameters offer multiple selection by clicking Ctrl + left mouse key. The check boxes are enabled by default. You can use them to exclude results from dealers or private sellers. We'd like to mention that the "Model line" and "Model" boxes will only populate once you have actually selected a make. When you have entered all the desired criteria, click "Search" or "Show" to display all AutoScout24 database search results filtered by your criteria. These are listed and will display as follows.
Front-end search result:

Below the make and the model line you will see a picture of the car on offer, if available. On the right you will find all relevant details such as price, gearbox type, mileage, and performance. Click "more..." to open a box with more properties of the selected vehicle, such as consumption, interior, date of next inspection, or whether it is offered by a dealer or a private seller. At the end of the page you will find a list of all existing pages dependent on the search results found. The number of vehicles displaying per page can be configured in the back end, same as with Developer Center account data.
All data displayed depend on how the initiator of the offer has specified them. AutoScout24 API users cannot access this information.
This example didn't make use of all the available parameters. There are more parameters you can integrate with your search, such as price ranges, etc.
Just use the portal's Applications section to try it out!
