This tool enables you to plan, initiate and control telephone conferences. You can also upload your Outlook contacts onto this application. This makes entering contact information a thing of the past.
By clicking on "Adhoc Conference" you prompt a dialog box in which you can create a telephone conference session including the features title, description, duration, visibility and participants. You can initiate and control the telephone conference right away. (Note: "Right mouse click" in the participant box: Mute, Recall).
Note: You need to add yourself to the conference (if you want to be part of it)!
By clicking on "Plan New Conference" you can create a conference for a future date. You can provide the title, description, duration, start time, repeats (e.g. weekly) and visibility for this session. If the information you provided is correct, you can add participants manually or from Outlook. In the box "Current Participant List" you can change the initiator with a right mouse click, mute individual participants during an ongoing conference and call participants back after they have disconnected. You can also save the conference you are planning as a template and send an invitation to all conference participants via Outlook.
By selecting a conference on your start screen, you can change the conference dates and participants under "Edit Conference."
You can delete a conference by selecting a conference and clicking on "Delete Conference".
You can delete or start templates at the bottom of the start screen. If you double-click a template, the "edit" window opens and all you need to do is set the start time for the session. All participants, the duration, description and title that you have provided will be included.
Visibility: If several different people are logged in under the same user name and password (company, department), you can make the conferences visible to everyone (to those who use the same login data). Conferences can also be edited and controlled by several users during the conference. If you do not want this, set visibility to private. Now no one besides you can see and edit this conference even if others use the same.
